The 2024 NBA playoffs are off and running, with rivalry match-ups and intense games on TV every night.
Who will be crowned the 2024 NBA champion?
Jordan Jackson is a huge fan of LeBron James and hopes the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and his Lakers team can make a run at a title.
“I don’t think anyone is stopping James,” said Jackson. “This is his year to win it all again and retire a champion.”
Omari Smith is concerned about the Lakers’ first-round opponent, the defending champion Denver Nuggets and last year’s league MVP Nikola Jokić.
“Their first-round matchup versus the Nuggets is tough,” said Smith. “If they get by that, they will win it all.”
Eryk Shammgod, son of former NBA player and current Dallas Mavericks assistant coach God Shammgod, is rooting for his father’s team to bring home the trophy.
“The Mavericks have all the players to do it,” said Shammgod. “I may be biased, but we are winning the championship.”
Boston Celtics fan James Lilly believes that his team, the top seed in the East, is going to raise the Larry O’Brien Trophy in June.
Philadelphia 76ers fan Trey McLeer is hoping Joel Embiid’s squad brings a title back to the City of Brotherly Love.
