Thanksgiving break is just around the corner for Red Flash students. The five-day break begins on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Classes resume on Monday, Dec. 1.
Since Thanksgiving is only a week away, we wanted to find out what students enjoy and what they don’t like so much on Turkey Day.
Exercise Physiology major Anthony Cioffari said that ham is the best. He did not hesitate in noting that green bean casserole is the worst.
Emma Nyland, a Pre-Physician Assistant student, thinks stuffing is the best. She also came down hard on a vegetable, citing corn as the worst Thanksgiving option.
Nursing student Scott Montler finally placed a yes vote in the vegetable category, albeit a starchy one.
“Mashed potatoes are the best,” said Montler. The purple eggs (pickled eggs) are disgusting.”
Zoey Dunkle, a Marketing and Management major, agrees with Scott that mashed potatoes are her go-to . Her vote for the worst Thanksgiving food went to cranberry sauce.
Freshman Business Administration major Ally Nyanko kept it classic, ranking turkey as her favorite dish at Thanksgiving. She echoed the sentiment of Cioffari, citing green bean casserole as her least favorite.
Finance student Kurt Ruggery gave the thumbs up to stuffing and the thumbs down to cranberry sauce.
