The women’s volleyball team (6-15, 4-4 NEC) will play league matches at Stonehill (Oct. 28) and Merrimack (Oct. 29) this week.

SFU is looking to bounce back after a 3-0 home loss to Fairleigh Dickinson on Oct. 22.

Outside hitters Madi Tyus and Korrin Burns had 15 and 11 kills, respectively, against the Knights. Setter Emma Fenton recorded 35 assists.

Despite the loss, the team took some positives out of the match.

“We had a lot of energy and effort that was present throughout the whole game and we stayed competitive,” said Tyus.

SFU returns to home action on Nov. 4, hosting LIU in a match that begins at 5 p.m.
