Comedian Adam Grabowski will host the SFU’s Got Talent finale this Friday, Feb 17, at 7 p.m. in the JFK Student Center lounge.

Grabowski’s hour-long stand-up act will take place before the talent show, which begins at 8 p.m. in the JFK Auditorium.

Grabowski, 31, is a Chicago native and a graduate from the University of Illinois with a degree in psychology. He was voted 2015 APCA Comic of the Year and has performed in 45 states at more than 500 different colleges.

This will be Grabowski’s second performance at Saint Francis. “Adam was a huge hit last year and we decided that we wanted to have him back on campus this year,” said Luke Trotz, SAO’s activities coordinator.

Many SFU students remember Grabowski from the hit television show America’s Got Talent in season 11.

“I remember he was a funny guy,” said Courtney Zezza, a sophomore business major. “It will be cool seeing him live.”

In previous college performances, Grabowski has made jokes on a range of topics such as current events, Disney movies and laundry. Much of his material is relatable to the college experience.

“I like to have a great laugh and I’m sure other students do too,” said Zezza. “I’m really excited for him to come to Saint Francis.”
