The men’s basketball team lost to Robert Morris, 79-70, on Dec. 20 at the Stokes Center.
It was just the fourth home game of the season for the Flash and the first in Loretto since Dec. 3.
Skylar Wicks led the Red Flash with 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.
“We have a little break, so the guys will get a chance for their bodies to rest,” said Wicks, who made nine-of-18 shots from the field.
“Then we get back and focus on keeping the things that we are doing well and cutting out the things that are hurting us.”
Senior Zion Russell had 15 points in the nine-point loss. Russell scored 10-plus points for the third straight game.
SFU went on a 16-5 run to take a 22-12 lead with 9:51 remaining in the first half, but the Colonials came storming back thanks to outstanding three-point shooting. DeSean Goode led RMU with 24 points and eight rebounds. Ryan Prather added 18 points and connected on five three-pointers.
RMU shot 55 percent (12-for-22) from three-point range in the game.
As a team, Saint Francis was 27-for-61 from the floor (44 percent) and 11-for-26 from three-point range (42 percent).
The 11 treys marked the second most for SFU in a game this season.
Ralph Martino and Ahmad Harrison added 11 points each for the Red Flash (2-11).
SFU will take a 13-day break before its next game. The team will host Le Moyne in its Northeast Conference opener in Loretto on Jan. 2.
