The football team lost its final game of the 2025 season at Stonehill, 20-10, on Nov. 23.
SFU received a spark in the middle of the first quarter when senior quarterback Adrian Mejia threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to tight end Brandon London. It was London’s second touchdown of the season and the first for Mejia.
Mejia finished the game 7-for-12 for 105 yards. California native Jake Hamilton made his first career start for the Flash at quarterback.
Hamilton completed five of 12 passes for 46 yards. He threw two interceptions. Mejia also tossed an interception.
The game-winning points came when the Skyhawks scored a 24-yard touchdown to give them a 10-7 lead in the second quarter, one they wouldn’t relinquish.
The NEC’s leading tackler, Red Flash linebacker Geno Calgaro, made eight tackles and closed the season with 105 stops.
Calgaro made the first fumble recovery of his career at Stonehill after sophomore Corey Williams knocked the ball loose from a Skyhawk ball-carrier.
Zach Betts had the Flash’s only sack in the game, giving him six QB takedowns on the season.
Running back Najee Adams led SFU with 52 rushing yards at Stonehill. Senior tight end Mike Darcy led the team in receptions with four catches for 33 yards.
