SFU’s Inter-Sorority Council is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt Fundraiser on Saturday, March 22, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event will be held on the campus mall, rain or shine. Proceeds will benefit the Circle of Sisterhood.
“We love working with them,” said Inter-Sorority Council philanthropy chair Abrielle Brown.
Circle of Sisterhood’s mission is to help remove barriers to education for girls in underdeveloped countries.
There are currently 339 college sororities engaged with Circle of Sisterhood across the United States. The organization has built 46 schools for students around the world.
The cost of participating in Saturday’s event is $5 per child. Admission will include the egg hunt that starts at 10 a.m., photos with the Easter Bunny, Easter crafts, a petting zoo and face painting.
“It’s not just an egg hunt,” said Brown.
Preregistration is preferred, but children are also welcome to register on the day of the event.
