Each year students at Saint Francis University are given the opportunity to spend a semester in France. Sophomore Joshua Luciew decided to take that opportunity—and write about it!

Luciew’s blog “The Adventure Enthusiast,” will capture the overall experience of studying abroad, utilizing video, picture and text.

“I wanted to have the experience of living outside of the United States for a long duration on my own,” said Luciew. “And I found for this to be a great opportunity to help me see a much of the world as I can.

Luciew who is excited to travel is not only going to get to experience France, he is going to allow others to also experience France through his blog. Friends, family and the Saint Francis community will be able to read about Luciew’s adventures while in France.

“I will try to post as frequently as possible,” said Luciew. “Attempting to capture the experiences of all the students studying abroad in France this semester as well as my own.”

“I’ve never done anything like this before,” said Luciew. “However, I am eager to capture this experience for everyone to see.”

Luciew is also thrilled to see another part of the world.

“I’m an adventure seeker and have many entries on my bucket list that I created and can cross off while in Europe,” said Luciew. “Such as: Tossing a coin in the Trevi Fountain, having spaghetti in Italy, and getting a start on setting foot on all seven continents.”
