The women’s soccer team has won three of its last four matches (7-8-1, 5-2-1 NEC) following a 3-1 home victory over LIU last Sunday.

Corinne Renninger, Raine Korpics and Tomke Dziesiaty all scored goals in the win over the Sharks. Dziesiaty – who also scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win at SFC on Oct. 20 – was named the NEC’s Player-of-the-Week on Monday. Korpics earned the NEC’s Rookie-of-the-Week Award this week.

SFU finishes its home regular-season schedule with a 6-1-1 record, its best home mark since 2017.

Head coach Sara Butler’s team closes the regular season at Central Connecticut State this week. The NEC Tournament begins on Oct. 30.
