Over spring break, the Athletics Department installed a mural on the wall in the foyer of the Stokes Center. 

The new mural was designed over the last several months.

“We are very excited about the recently installed mural in the front foyer area,” said Director of Athletics Susan Robinson-Fruchtl. “These new graphics provide some great branding to this area, and the images help tell the story and history of Red Flash Athletics.”

Every sport at SFU is featured on the mural.

“The mural is part of the new branding plan in the Athletics Department,” said Assistant Director of Athletics for Facilities and Operations A.J. Anderson. “It is an opportunity to highlight our student-athletes and sports at Saint Francis.” 

The mural includes a former student-athlete in each sport that SFU sponsors. Two factors were used to determine what athletes were included in the mural. The first priority was to highlight the all-time greats in Red Flash Athletics history. The second factor on who was included in the mural was the quality of the available images.
