Saint Francis hosted its annual SpringFest on Saturday, April 27.

The day included a home track and field meet and many admitted students, their families and students considering SFU attended the meet.

Other SpringFest events included a raffle, game booths, a bouncy house, food trucks and a petting zoo.

Snow cones, popcorn and other food items were available throughout the day. Each Greek organization operated a booth.

“I loved volunteering and seeing the happy looks on people’s faces when they won a game or got free carnival food,” said Elana Benninghoff, a sophomore member of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority.

Raffle prizes included an Xbox, flat screen television and a drone.

“The event ended up being much larger than I thought it would be,” said Annie Horne, a member of Phi Delta Kappa.

The petting zoo included baby goats, French bulldogs, a donkey, pigs, cows and a zebra.
