Greek God and Goddess event raises money for charity
Theta Phi Alpha Sorority hosted its annual “Greek God and Goddess” philanthropy event in late March.
Money raised from the event went to the Women’s Health Center of Cambria County and National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders.
At the event, one member from each Greek organization on campus is invited to showcase his or her spirit and talent and there is also an interview, much like a beauty pageant.
The winning sorority and fraternity were given the opportunity to donate to the philanthropy of their choice.
Goddess honors went to Alison Mattes, who showed her Delta Phi Epsilon spirit while dancing in an inflatable unicorn costume.
The winner of the Greek God title went to Giovanni Palmieri of Psi Upsilon for his performance playing the viola.
