SFU to Host Red Mass/Law Day

Saint Francis will host its annual Red Mass/Law Day on Friday, April 22.

Bishop Mark Bartchak will serve as celebrant of the event, while the Rev. John Byrnes will deliver the homily.

The Red Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Chapel, and will be followed by the Law Day Lunch at the JFK Student Center.

The keynote speaker at the luncheon will be Judge Joy Flowers Conti of the U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania.

Law professionals and government officials in the surrounding area will be welcomed to SFU to seek guidance from the Holy Spirit and receive the gifts of wisdom, counsel, fortitude and understanding.
