The University’s spring break is on the horizon (March 3-7) and students are making plans for their week away from Loretto.
“I’m looking forward to visiting my sister in San Diego,” said junior Marketing major Marlie Krug.
Maryland native Brayden Conrad plans on attending some sports events during his break from classes.
“I’m going to catch two (Washington) Capitals games, watch some high school baseball, and hang out with my family,” said Conrad.
Wherever they are headed, students said that they are ready for a break.
“I’m going to Florida with the golf team, where we have two tournaments over the span of 10 days,” said freshman golfer Bryn Sorge, a native of Richmond Hills, Georgia.
“The first tournament is in Gainesville, then we head over to Vero Beach.”
Sicklerville, New Jersey native Wisler Sanon hopes to be competing in March Madness with his teammates on the Red Flash men’s basketball team.
If not, the junior Communications major plans to visit family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Other students are keeping it low key over spring break.
“I’m going to relax and stay at home,” said sophomore Bailey Sheppard, a native of Windber, Pennsylvania.
