Students Looking Forward to Spring Break
Students are preparing for midterms, but they are also looking forward to getting off the mountain for Spring Break.
For many spring sports student-athletes, they will travel and compete.
“I am excited to spend my first spring break in college traveling with my team,” said lacrosse player Erika Ellison. Her team will travel to Washington, D.C., to play Howard on March 6.
Other students, like freshman Communications major Zach Benedek, will be headed home for the break. Benedek said he will travel to Pittsburgh to spend time with his family. He plans to spend the break relaxing and hiking with his parents and siblings.
“I am hoping to write some good short stories and watch a few movies I have been wanting to watch, but have not had the time to while at school,” said Benedek.
Senior Jake Curry said he is heading to Las Vegas with some close friends.
“We are planning to see some shows while we are there, and none of us have been to Vegas, so it will be a lot of fun.”
Wherever students will be, it will be a great opportunity for a mental reset in order to finish the spring semester strong.
