Students, alumni prepare for Red and White Game

Red Flash Football alumni drafted teams for the Red and White Game this Friday, April 27, 2018. Team Drayer and Team Duncan clash at 6:30 p.m. at Degol Field.

Former Red Flash quarterback Zach Drayer selected All-American Kamron Lewis with his first pick.

“I feel great about the team I picked,” said Drayer. “I think we have a good mix of veteran players and some young talent.”

Former All-American cornerback Malik Duncan also picked a team. The alumni are confident in the teams they picked.

“I feel good about my team,” said Duncan. “We’re here to compete, and we’re here dominate.”

The spring game draft was created for a fun way to allow players to acquire chemistry with different players. The game is intended to be a mixture of the past and present of Red Flash Football.

Team Duncan and Team Drayer practiced separately Wednesday to prepare for the spring game.
