Saint Francis students, faculty and staff celebrated Multicultural Week, Sept. 13-18. The week-long event, hosted by the School of Arts and Letters, culminated with the third annual Multicultural Festival on the campus mall on Sept. 18.

The week of activities celebrated the diverse and cultural backgrounds of students, faculty and staff. Events included a discussion on race, religion and violence in America; lessons in languages; an International Coffee House and Poetry Night; a star-gazing session; a museum tour; and a fundraiser for the Dorothy Day Center.

The Multicultural Festival featured music, dance, artistry, poetry and food from countries around the world. Student clubs and programs represented included People Respecting Others’ Unique Differences (P.R.O.U.D.), International Student Programs, International Student Association, American Sign Language Club, Campus Ministry, History Club, Anime Club, Spanish Language and Culture, French Club, Italian Studies, Study Abroad, Hugs United, Public Health, Sociology & Criminal Justice Club, Social Work Club and RED Radio.
